The Parish of The Holy Family

Gift Aid

Gift Aid

Gift Aid increases the value of your donations and means that The Parish of the Holy Family can benefit even more at no extra cost to you , provided you are a UK taxpayer and pay sufficient income tax (and/or Capital Gains Tax).  Holy Family can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift - currently 25p for every £1 you give - if you complete the Gift Aid form below and return it to the Parish Office.

Higher rate tax payers can claim additional tax benefits for donations they make to charity.  Simply indicate how much you have donated when completing your tax self assessment form.

Please note that the donor must pay an amount of income tax (and/or Captial Gains Tax) for a tax year ending 5th April at least equal to the tax repayment claimed on their donations by ALL charities (and Community Amateur Sports Clubs) to whom the donor donates in that tax year.  Any other tax paid other than Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.  Please also note that if you have paid insufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax in any one tax year then you are responsible for repaying any shortfall to HMRC.
