There is a great tradition of Altar Serving in our parish. Serving on the altar is not only a great privilege but also an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the life of our community. Many of our servers have joined after making their First Holy Communion and continued until going to university.

We are blessed to have an enthusiastic and efficient group of servers regularly taking part in our weekly masses and on special feasts and occasions. After an initial familiarisation session new servers join the rota where they learn the skills of serving led by older and more experienced servers (MCs). Although the majority of new servers join in the autumn after making their First Holy Communion new candidates of any age are always welcome at any time.
